Job Summary :
Assist in the instruction of law enforcement related labs providing basic skills to students. Demonstrate knowledge and skills relevant to various health care professions while maintaining a safe and effective teaching environment. Assess competency skills in traditional or dual credit environment.

Medium Work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and / or up to 20 pounds of force constantly having to move objects. Positions in this class typically include talking, hearing, seeing, grasping, standing, walking and repetitive motions, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching, plus climbing and balancing. Occasional exposure to unpleasant environmental conditions and / or hazards. Occasional outside work. Occasional physical effort required.
Level I (HR217) $34.19 :
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree from a regionally accredited institution preferred.
Five (5) years of relevant paid work experience.
TCOLE Basic or Intermediate Peace Officer Certificate.
TCOLE Basic Instructor or other recognized Instructor Certification in field of specialty.
Level II (HR220) $40.72 :
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree from a regionally accredited institution preferred.
Five (5) years of relevant paid work experience.
TCOLE Advanced or Master Peace Officer Certificate.
TCOLE Instructor Proficiency Certificate OR equivalent credentials from other states or federal agencies.
Equivalency Language (Level I, Level II)
TCOLE credentialing documentation as a subject matter expert may be used to waive the five (5) years of relevant paid work experience and the TCOLE certificate requirement.
