SAP Finance Joint Venture Accounting (JVA) Functional Lead

Genesis Consulting has an immediate opportunity for an experienced, forward thinking SAP Finance Joint Venture Accounting Functional Lead with a passion for growth and business transformation for an SAP Client Partner in San Ramon, CA. Duties and Responsibilities :

The SAP Finance JVA Functional Lead will work with the client to assist in the business transformation of a Joint Venture to prepare / build their SAP S / 4HANA finance system. Duties may include but are not limited to :

• Lead Project Finance JVA team with prep activities for Fit to Standard Workshop and Global Architecture and Design
• Work on Operated and Non-Operated scenarios pertaining to International, Canada and US Joint Ventures
• Work with cross-workstreams (GL, CO and PS) for integration touchpoints
• Be a part of a Global Design Team for their client's ERP Transformation to the new digital Platform
• Facilitate Fit to Standard workshops to prescribe standard SAP business process and solutions to drive customer to standard Scope of work is to prepare / build the sandbox system (S / 4HANA 1809 or higher) and other collaterals based on the Model Company or Best Practices content for Fit to Standard Workshops
• Work effectively with SI as the deployment transitions from Explore to Build phase.
• Be familiar with SAP Model Company (Multi-National Oil and Gas) Best Practices
• Provide project management of a large complex ERP solution effort
• Experience managing SAP staff and client to drive project delivery and success
• Maintain a project schedule, cost, risks & issues
• Ability to lead the to-be solution and challenge the business
• Ability to articulate benefits of working in an integrated SAP approach
