Accountant II

The Accountant II is responsible for general ledger accounting and preparation of financial statements in conformity with GAAP and SEC procedures. The position also performs financial analysis, account reconciliations, and other special projects.

• Provide guidance to accounts payable for coding of invoices and follow proper internal control policies and procedures.
• Engage in the monthly closing process to ensure timely, complete, and accurate financial statements.
• Report to management regarding the finances of the establishment and collaborate with team members to accomplish department and company goals.
• Develop, perform, and maintain account analysis and reconciliation, including fixed assets and cash flow.
• Maintain a positive attitude in stressful situations.
• Review and prepare general ledger journal entries.
• Other duties and projects, as assigned.
• Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, and expenses to provide advice and support business objectives.
• Bachelor's Degree Accounting or related field, preferred.
• 1 year Experience in accounting, preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Accuracy and attention to detail.

• Financial record keeping.
• Flexibility and adaptability.
• Knowledge of organization.
• Problem solving.
• Generally, 8 : 00 am - 5 : 00 pm with occasional irregular hours depending on workload.
• This is a salary position paid biweekly.
