Business Development Coordinator/Receptionist
Job Summary :
Land Rover of Shreveport is seeking a Business Development Coordinator / Receptionist to join our growing dealership. This individual will be responsible for assisting with the development and implementation of business strategies to drive sales and improve customer satisfaction.
The role will also involve managing the front desk, answering phones, and providing excellent customer service to all visitors.
This is a full-time, individual contributor position with a base hourly pay plus commission in the auto industry.
Compensation & Benefits :
The Business Development Coordinator / Receptionist will receive a competitive hourly rate of $15 to $18, paid semimonthly.
In addition, they will have the opportunity to earn commission based on their performance. This position also offers benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
Responsibilities :
- Assist with developing and implementing business strategies to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction
- Maintain strong relationships with current and potential customers through effective communication and follow-up
- Act as the first point of contact for all dealership visitors, providing excellent customer service and directing inquiries to the appropriate department
- Manage incoming phone calls and direct them to the appropriate staff member
- Coordinate and schedule appointments for sales and service departments
- Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized front desk area
- Support all departments with various administrative tasks as needed
- Monitor and track customer satisfaction to identify areas for improvement
- Assist with planning and executing dealership events and promotions
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes to provide valuable insights to the team
Requirements :
- High school diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred
- Previous experience in business development, sales, or customer service preferably in the auto industry
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
