Position Overview
The Screening Product Management Intern plays a key role in shaping the future of cancer screening by supporting the colorectal cancer (CRC) screening product management team. This role offers the opportunity to dive into market research, uncover insights, and contribute to strategic decisions that guide the development of innovative DNA-based CRC screening products. In addition, the intern will work on tactical initiatives that bring product enhancements to life for patients.
This position is based in Madison, WI.
Essential Duties
Include, but are not limited to, the following :
- Review internal and external literature on CRC screening to better understand user and market needs.
- Support the product team in making key tactical decisions.
- Prepare presentations for internal and external audiences.
- Help conduct quantitative and qualitative research to aid in the evaluation and positioning of new products or product improvements.
- Perform other ad-hoc projects as needed.
- Uphold company mission and values through accountability, innovation, integrity, quality, and teamwork.
- Support and comply with the company's Quality Management System policies and procedures.
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
- Ability to act with an inclusion mindset and model these behaviors for the organization.
- Ability to work on a mobile device, tablet, or in front of a computer screen and / or perform typing for approximately 80% of a typical working day.
- Ability to work on a computer and phone simultaneously.
- Ability to use a telephone through a headset.
- Ability to grasp with both hands; pinch with thumb and forefinger; turn with hand / arm; reach above shoulder height.
Minimum Qualifications
Pursuing (or completed) a bachelor's degree in Math, Science, Engineering, Business, or Finance.College-level coursework in chemistry, physics, or mathematics.Strong analytical and organizational skills.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Intermediate-level skills with Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.Demonstrated ability to balance competing projects and complete them on time with high quality.Demonstrated ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
