Job Description
The Clinical Specialist is responsible for providing detailed technical support for interventional products and procedures to a wide range of customers including Physicians, Nurses and Technicians.
Support Sales Representatives and Regional Managers with clinical coverage for assigned region. Work in collaboration with Marketing, Research and Development, Training, National Accounts and Medical Affairs as needed.

- You will be responsible for Argon's entire bag of products with over 3,000 SKUs. Some of their top products are :
- Option Elite IVC Filter
- Cleaner Mechanical Thrombectomy
- TLAB Transjugular Liver Biopsy
- Skater drainage system
- BioPince Ultra Full Core Biopsy Device
- JAWZ heart biopsy forceps
- Scorpion TIPS kit
Minimum Requirements
- Associate Degree in Nursing, Radiology or other equivalent technical discipline.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the Interventional Radiology Lab, Cardiac Cath Lab, Operating Room or ICU.
- Prior experience selling and / or supporting medical devices preferred.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work with all district personnel, customers, and other employees.
- Demonstrates an ability to establish relationships within accounts.
- Critical thinking skills to provide solutions to customers with product concerns.
- Current credentialing / certification in respective discipline and environment.
- Demonstrate an understanding of policies, procedures, and regulations in order to maintain a satisfactory record of compliance.
- Ability to be a team player and work independently. Self-motivated, takes on additional responsibilities and manages priorities with minimal supervision.
- Strong time management skills with an ability to maintain numerous priorities and meet established deadlines.
Job Requirements
- Conduct hospital in-servicing to ensure the safe and effective use of Argon products.
- Provide direct customer and Territory Manager support for product questions.
- Assist with / or independently manage product evaluations and trials.
- Support Marketing by implementing physician preference surveys.
- Support regional sales strategy by working closely with the Territory and Regional Sales Manager.
- Manages inventories, such as consignment and trunk stock, to support current customers and optimize customer product utilization and efficiency.
- Establish and maintain relationships with all account customers, including physicians, nurses, technologist and administrations.
- Coordinate and facilitate implementation of Argon's Resident and Medical School Education Program at selected facilities.
- Work with Corporate Training, presenting material for new-hire training.
- Educate and provide accurate information pertaining to the clinical efficacy of Argon's entire portfolio of products and devices.
- Effectively work with the Clinical Department in developing and maintaining best practices.
- Other duties as assigned
Compensation Information
- Base Salary : $100,000 - $150,000 (depending on experience level)
- Bonus : $10,000-$24,000 annually / paid out quarterly

Territory Parameters : Will cover GA, AL, TN, KY, IN, IL, MO, LA, a small portion of MS, FL
