Hybrid Tables

Hybrid Tables are a new Snowflake Table type that deliver fast single row operations, enabling customers to power modern data applications directly on top of Snowflake, maintain unified data governance, and simplify their data architecture.

Snowflake is looking for a strong product leader who will help drive the next generation of database and data platform innovations in Hybrid Tables and Unistore.

You’ll work closely with Snowflake's largest customers to understand how Hybrid Tables can help them further leverage Snowflake.

The role requires strong technical depth and experience building cloud native service. Frequent engagements with some of the most strategic Snowflake customers is part of this role and requires a strong communication and execution.

As a Snowflake Senior Product Manager, you will :

  • Define and evolve the product vision and roadmap for Snowflake’s Hybrid Tables feature
  • Work across different use cases and teams to tightly integrate Hybrid Tables into the Snowflake platform.
  • Work hand in hand with our customers, engaging in frequent conversations to understand their needs, gather feedback, and ensure that our overall product direction is in tune with customer needs.
  • Work closely with engineering, technical program management, and data scientists to own delivery and execution.
  • Manage programs and structure projects to ensure smooth execution of the product roadmap.
  • Drive execution with a cross-functional team, ensuring that everyone is working towards the same goals and impact.

The ideal candidate will :

  • Have 8+ years of relevant experience in a technical role, with at least 5 of those in a product management role.
  • Have some experience building database technologies
  • Significant experience working with Engineering, Technical Program Management and Data Science.
  • Be able to understand the breadth of our product line as well as get technical and be able to drill into details on owned areas.
  • Thrive in the dynamic environment that comes with being part of an innovative company from its early days. That means flexibility as well as dealing with ambiguity.
  • Be highly data driven, knowing how to get, understand, and use data to make the best possible decisions.
  • Operate and think at both the customer experience layer a well as deeply understanding the technology stack. Know whether the limitations of the current systems and tools are reasonable or if we should rebuild to enable new capabilities.

The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role :

  • The estimated base salary range for this role is $214,000 - $327,700.
  • Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake’s bonus and equity plan.

The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.

  • This role is also eligible for a competitive package that includes : medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance;
