Position Overview : As a trusted recruitment partner, we are assisting our client in their search for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join their esteemed team.
In this role, you will play a critical part in driving manufacturing excellence and ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
Reporting directly to the Director of Operations, you will spearhead the production of precision components utilizing Swiss machining, milling, grinding, and lathe operations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Apply your extensive expertise in Swiss machining, milling, grinding, and lathe operations to optimize manufacturing processes and drive operational efficiency.
- Lead the validation of new equipment and processes, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and refine machine programs to enhance productivity and minimize downtime, utilizing your proficiency in CNC machining operations.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise to resolve machine issues promptly and minimize disruptions to production.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives and best practices.
- Mentor and coach junior engineers and production staff, fostering a culture of learning and professional development.
- Act as a champion for safety, quality, and operational excellence, embodying the core values of the organization.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in a manufacturing environment, with a focus on Swiss machining and precision machining processes.
- Strong proficiency in machine programming and validation, with hands-on experience in CNC machining operations.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex machine issues effectively.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with a proven track record of mentoring and developing talent.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adept at managing shifting priorities.
