More specifically, we are currently seeking to add an Outside Sales Representative who will work primarily on the expansion and development of our client base in the Northeastern States such as NY,PA and NJ)
Your Role
As an Outside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for prospecting and cold-calling sales leads in your territory, as well as maintain strong relationships with existing customers to help grow our constructions projects, columbarium and bronze accessories business line. You will need to travel (about 40-50% of the time) to prospective customer sites to understand their development projects, see how CMC could be a key player in such, and of course, deliver sales pitches. You need to be a self-motivated, tech savvy individual driven to succeed.
Main responsabilities
Generate new leads and build a robust pipeline through prospecting, networking, and market research.
Conduct meetings with potential clients to understand their needs and present our products effectively.
Effectively demonstrate product line through visuals and samples.
Achieve and exceed business lines' sales targets by closing deals and maintaining strong client relationships.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth client onboarding and post-sale support.
Continuously update knowledge of industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics.
Provide accurate sales forecast and reports to management on regular basis.
Utilize CRM to record, maintain & report customer information.
Attend industry events and conferences to enhance professional network and promote company offerings.
Refer any mausoleum projects leads to the Construction Regional teams.
Training and Certification
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or related field.
Minor in a related field and 5+ years of proven track record in Sales
3+ years of successful B2B outside sales experience.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
Valid driver's license.
Skills
Proven track record in outside sales with a focus on meeting and exceeding sales goals.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build and nurture relationships with clients.
Experience in long cycle sales process
Strong negotiation and closing skills on Business to business deals
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
Willingness to travel extensively for client meetings and events.
Ability to be adapt selling style to audience.
Understanding the etiquette related to the funeral industry
Familiarity with the industry and product knowledge is a strong asset.
Proficient in the English language Written and spoken
Knowledge in the construction industry an asset
Work Conditions
Travel requirements in the pre-estabilished region : between 40% and 50% of the time.
