Job Summary

To serve the Church by providing coordination of the daily operations within the (department) and (general task)

Duties and Responsibilities

• Primary responsibility : To operate as a classroom teacher or assistant for Midweek and weekend services. Tuesday evenings & Thursday mornings (New Life North) and Sunday mornings (New Life East).
• Check children in and out of classroom.
• Teach curriculum, facilitate activities and worship / worship response during class.
• Maintain order in a loving, caring, peaceful environment.
• Keep room clean and orderly throughout class time and at the end of class; vacuuming, wiping down tables, sanitizing toys, keeping cabinets orderly.
• Follow policy and procedure and standard classroom procedures.
• Assist Family Ministries department with additional projects to include but not limited to lesson / curriculum prep, cleaning toys or classrooms, restocking supplies, and clearing storage areas.
• Support and participate in Family Ministries events such as Family Nights, Parenting Conference, Kids Camp, Desperation conference.
• Attend all required team meetings.
• Be on time for your designated shift.
• Work in close association with the entire staff to build and maintain a strong team environment and complete the work necessary to fully serve and support the ministries of New Life Church.
• Cooperate with the Pastor and Director by performing any other duties when asked to do so.

Education and Experience

Education : High School diploma or higher

Experience : 2 years experience

Physical Demands :

• Regularly required to sit and occasionally required to stand and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must be able to frequently lift and / or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally life and or move up to 25 pounds.
• Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and / or fingers. Close visual acuity to is necessary to perform an activity such as : preparing and analyzing data and figures;

transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
