Controls Installation Apprentice

The Building Controls Service system monitors, trends, and logs system performances that can be retrieved and analyzed for system faults and human error.

Through innovative technology, JSET provides active alarm monitoring solutions for all your automation needs.

Compensation :

Dependent upon experience, our Electrical Installers will be paid $18 - $27 an hour.

Schedule :

Option to work 5, 8-hour shifts or 4, 10-hours shifts. Employees should expect to start their day at the same jobsite each day, in the Hilliard or New Albany area as assigned.

Job Requirements :

• Ability to read and follow blueprints.
• Able to use your knowledge and experience to lay out and determine the best way to install new electrical systems.
• Able to install conduit, pull wire, and terminating PLC cabinets.
• Assemble, install, and test equipment using hand tools or power tools.
• Strong electrical / electronic troubleshoot skills.
• Install, troubleshoot, and terminate control wirings per drawling's.
• OSHA10 certified preferred; ability to obtain certificate required.

Minimum qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Demonstrated electrical, HVAC, and mechanical background.
• Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety. Ability to follow instructions and safety protocols.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Reliable and dependable with a strong work ethic.

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, with a valid driver's license. Physically, applicants must have the ability to make precisely coordinated movements of the fingers of one or both hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble very small objects.
