Litigation Legal Assistant

A highly respected medical malpractice and personal injury firm in Tampa, is seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant to support its managing partner in all aspects of civil litigation. This role involves handling complex cases from filing through trial preparation, ensuring every detail is managed with precision and professionalism. This person will prepare pleadings, manage discovery, coordinate filings, and assist in maintaining a seamless litigation process. This is a full-time, onsite position where reliability, accuracy, and professionalism are paramount. Litigation Legal Assistant Responsibilities :

• Prepare, draft, and file pleadings, discovery requests / responses, and court documents
• Assist with case management, scheduling, and coordination of court filings
• Draft petitions to extend statute of limitations and related legal correspondence
• Maintain case files, organize exhibits, and prepare trial binders
• Communicate with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel
• Manage discovery deadlines and ensure compliance with court orders
• Support attorney in all phases of medical malpractice and personal injury litigation
