To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth were looking to add a Production Supervisor Switchgear located in Dallas Texas.

Reporting to the Director of Fabrication the Production Supervisor - Switchgear role involves leading the manufacturing operations for our sheet metal fabrication department to ensure daily production output is met. This role will require a thorough understanding of fabrication processes and machinery including welding and CNC machines (press brakes punch presses lasers).

What a typical day looks like :

• Leads and trains employees on the assigned shift; Oversees the daily workflow and assignments of the production shift.
• Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations coaching and mentoring.
• Coordinate resources as necessary to achieve safe and efficient results based on project workload.
• Review and verify the quality of work to ensure it meets the specifications of blueprints and mechanical drawings.
• Partners with Production Manager and Planner Scheduler to track progress or changes to production schedules and communicates information to team members as appropriate.
• Provide recommendations to increase productivity and efficiency of the department.
• Maintains knowledge of processes and equipment used according to company policies and procedures.
• Notifies maintenance department of equipment problems.
• Ensures that employees comply with applicable safety regulations policies and procedures.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
