Project Overview and Position Summary
Data.FI is a global project funded by the U.S. Department of State to strengthen health information systems, health financing and improve the use of data for decision making. In Kenya, Data.FI will support the Ministry of Health (MoH) through the Digital Health Agency (DHA), National Malaria Control Programme (NMCP), the National Public Health Institute (NPHI) and other relevant state agencies to enhance digital health governance, public health surveillance, and health financing integration.
The Project Intern will support the implementation of digital health, data analytics, and health information system activities within the project. The role is designed for a highly motivated emerging professional with strong quantitative skills and enthusiasm for technology, data systems, and public health analytics. The intern will assist in data collection, cleaning, reporting, dashboard design, field coordination, document management, and administrative tasks that ensure smooth project execution. This role provides hands-on experience working with digital health tools, government data systems such as DHIS2, and real-world public health datasets.
