Position Summary :
Join our mission-driven team at Children’s Mercy-Camber Olathe Hospital as the Associate Director of Administration. Starting no earlier than July 1, 2024, this role provides leadership and direction to inpatient and / or residential programs, developing efficient systems for quality care, staff development, and ensuring a culture of safety.
Facilities must meet or exceed standards set by The Joint Commission (TJC), Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services (KDADS), Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), and other accrediting bodies.

Education :
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Master's degree or equivalent preferred
Requirements :
- Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
- Must be at least 21 years old
Experience :
2+ years related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred Experience / Skills :
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook email
Essential Duties :
- Provide inclusive leadership regardless of age, gender identity, sexual orientation, race, religion, ethnicity, or veteran status
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of facility documentation
- Oversee contract time frames, development, and maintenance
- Manage internal quality assurance processes and review reports
- Obtain, review, and maintain reports for agency licensing and audits
- Coordinate agency grant applications and reporting
- Research and manage site purchases for quality and cost efficiency
- Participate in vendor negotiations
- Coordinate processes and communication across departments
- Chair Safety Management Committee
- Monitor training and medical record compliance
- Oversee staff development and new employee orientation
- Ensure compliance with licensing and accrediting bodies
- Provide on-call crisis support as part of the site leadership team
- Participate in leadership development opportunities
- Represent Camber in community forums
- Manage resources, equipment, and supplies
- Review and approve bills for accounts payable
- Manage and respond to investigations and licensing inquiries
- Practice conduct that promotes respect for all colleagues and stakeholders
