Job description

Position Summary :

We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to

join our healthcare team working with client in the IDD community. The CNA will provide essential care and support to individuals in a

respectful, patient-centered manner. You will assist residents or clients with daily living

activities, monitor their health, and help ensure a safe and comfortable environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Provide hands-on care and assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing,

grooming, toileting, and feeding

Assist with mobility and transfers using proper techniques and equipment

Monitor and report changes in residents' or clients' physical or emotional condition to the

nursing staff

Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration

Maintain accurate documentation of care provided

Ensure a clean, safe, and supportive environment for all individuals

Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members

Follow established policies, procedures, and care plans

Participate in training, in-service education, and staff meetings as required

Qualifications :

Current CNA certification in Tennessee

High school diploma or equivalent

CPR and First Aid certification (preferred or required based on your organization)

Ability to lift, push, and pull moderate weight

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Compassionate, reliable, and detail-oriented

Experience in [home health care / long-term care / facility-based care - customize as

needed] is a plus

Must have a valid driver's license and dependable vehicle

IDD Experience Preferred
