Position Summary :
We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to
join our healthcare team working with client in the IDD community. The CNA will provide essential care and support to individuals in a
respectful, patient-centered manner. You will assist residents or clients with daily living
activities, monitor their health, and help ensure a safe and comfortable environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide hands-on care and assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing,
grooming, toileting, and feeding
Assist with mobility and transfers using proper techniques and equipmentMonitor and report changes in residents' or clients' physical or emotional condition to thenursing staff
Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respirationMaintain accurate documentation of care providedEnsure a clean, safe, and supportive environment for all individualsCommunicate effectively with clients, families, and team membersFollow established policies, procedures, and care plansParticipate in training, in-service education, and staff meetings as requiredQualifications :
Current CNA certification in TennesseeHigh school diploma or equivalentCPR and First Aid certification (preferred or required based on your organization)Ability to lift, push, and pull moderate weightStrong interpersonal and communication skillsCompassionate, reliable, and detail-orientedExperience in [home health care / long-term care / facility-based care - customize asneeded] is a plus
