Account Manager – Client Relationships
As part of our continued growth, we’re looking for an Account Manager who will nurture and grow our client relationships, ensuring every customer feels valued, supported, and inspired by our partnership. You will be at the heart of our client relationships, responsible for ensuring our customers stay with us, grow with us, and become passionate advocates of our work. This role blends commercial responsibility with relationship excellence. You’ll be accountable for managing and expanding a portfolio of existing clients, proactively identifying ways to add value through new products, planting enhancements, and service innovations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop a portfolio of key client accounts, ensuring high satisfaction and long‑term retention.
- Build deep, authentic relationships with client contacts at all levels, becoming their trusted advisor and go‑to partner.
- Maintain regular communication through reviews, site visits, and proactive check‑ins to keep clients engaged.
- Identify opportunities to innovate and upsell, introducing new plants, displays, and services that enhance the client’s environment.
- Resolve client issues promptly and effectively, ensuring smooth operations and outstanding service delivery.
- Collaborate closely with operations, design, and maintenance teams to deliver excellence on every project.
- Monitor account performance, renewal timelines, and client satisfaction metrics.
- Secure referrals and introductions to new business opportunities within existing client networks.
- Achieve annual sales growth and retention targets, balancing upsell performance with contract retention and loss reduction.
Requirements
Proven experience in account management, client services, or relationship management, ideally within the Facilities Management, Design, or Service industry.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; high emotional intelligence is a must.Demonstrated ability to grow existing accounts through upselling and cross‑selling.Strong problem‑solving skills and a service‑oriented mindset.Solid commercial understanding, with the ability to interpret contracts and client requirements.Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and a bias for action.Team‑oriented and collaborative approach, working seamlessly across departments.Benefits
