Position Scope
The Graduate Student Assistant performs data collection, project management, and clinical research activities (within scope of practice as a graduate nursing student) with direct supervision from the Research Scientist or Director, Nursing.
As Key Personnel on research proposal, assist to identify and assess persons eligible for protocol participation, discusses potential subject enrollment, gathers clinical data, supporting evidence base practice project and enters data into database.
Ensures all research activities are in compliance to protocol and federal regulations.
Position Summary
The Graduate Student Assistant is responsible for support services to patients and research projects, as directed by the Research Scientist, Clinical Nursing Specialist, and Director of Nursing.
The Graduate Student Assistant participates in data collection, data processing, and research-related activities. Services are provided in collaboration with other members of the research and nursing care teams
Minimum Qualifications
Background in nursing or health-related professions. Previous health care experience or service oriented field experience and / or research study experience is preferred.
