Description

We are currently seeking a Senior Tax Manager to join our international public accounting practice, Rödl & Partner, in our Houston, Texas office. Your responsibilities will focus on tax consulting related to a broad range of international and domestic tax issues. The ideal candidate will have experience with international inbound topics and general U.S. tax structuring.

Responsibilities :

• Tax experience in areas such as international, corporate, partnership, and state and local tax, U.S. tax treaties, inbound and outbound structuring, domestic restructuring, U.S. tax compliance for foreign entities, FATCA, foreign withholding, earnings and profits, and foreign tax credits.
• Some compliance work, particularly related to tax return review and issue identification, but tax compliance is generally not a major part of this role.
• Work on a variety of tax issues for mostly foreign-owned companies and foreign individuals, providing a unique international tax practice experience.
• Operate with a high degree of autonomy while collaborating within a team environment.
