The Director of Admissions will provide leadership and training to the inside student recruitment team (Admissions Coordinators and Financial Planners). This position will over see Admissions activity for our Massachusetts campuses: Chicopee, Worcester, Brockton.
The candidate may sit at any one of the 3 Massachusetts campus locations.
Main responsibilities:
- Hire and Manage Admissions Coordinators
- Assist with oversite of front desk receptionists
- Daily leadership of Admissions Coordinators
- Provide appropriate feedback on job performance on a daily and weekly basis
- Conduct quarterly and annual performance reviews for Admissions Coordinators
- Coordinate interdepartmental recruitment activities, such as Career Awareness Days, Orientation, and Open Houses
- Plan and execute quarterly and annual training sessions
- Lead weekly Admissions meetings
Position requirements:
- Associates Degree or higher preferred
- 5 years sales experience with three years in a supervisory capacity, post-secondary admissions experience preferred.
- Ability to lead and motivate sales professionals
- Strong interpersonal relations skills
- Problem resolution ability to discover and resolve issues
- Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with colleagues and team members
- Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
