As an Innovation Software Architect, you will play a crucial role in supporting development teams to achieve impactful solutions that enable Fugro to deliver Geo-data in the shortest time and with high trust.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead by example and place Quality, Health & Safety, Security, and the protection of the Environment as core values while never intentionally placing employees, our processes, customers, or the communities in which we live and work at risk.
  • Develop technical strategies, architecture, and associated roadmaps to guide project development and implementation.
  • Lead technology ideation, Proof of Concept (PoC) development, and provide guidance on implementation strategies.
  • Maintain professional relevance through continuous learning, active participation in professional organizations, and staying updated on industry best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with security and performance standards, identifying and addressing issues as they arise.
  • Collaborate closely with lead engineers, product managers, and domain experts to design and document technical solutions, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives.
  • Directly influence the vision and objectives of your team's work, ensuring alignment with business and market needs to drive value effectively.

Job Requirements

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States, without restrictions.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering
  • 8+ years’ experience in development, architecture, as well as leadership roles.
  • Ability to work hybrid schedule : Minimum of 2 days in office per week with 3 days working remote.
  • Knowledge of GIS systems, point cloud system, 3D environments will be an advantage.
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Proven track record of customer-centric architecture promoting simplicity and urgency towards Time to Market.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment and self-motivated.
  • Promote a culture of growth and innovation within the teams, fostering an environment where staff members are encouraged to share ideas and explore new approaches.
