Business Development Manager KY / IL / IN Territory

ATC Automation is hiring a Business Development Manager for the KY / IL / IN territory . This is a fully remote role focused on driving growth in the automation industry by building new business opportunities and strengthening customer relationships. You will collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored automation solutions and help expand our customer base.

Responsibilities

  • Understand customer needs and industry trends to identify strategic opportunities.
  • Develop and expand business within existing accounts while targeting new markets and technologies.
  • Build strong relationships with decision-makers at operational and executive levels.
  • Establish territory priorities aligned with ATC's growth goals.
  • Lead new market entry in Transportation, Consumer Products, and Medical Device assembly.
  • Direct and support Sales Reps to achieve territory goals.
  • Represent ATC at trade shows and industry events to drive visibility and engagement.
  • Track sales activity and maintain accurate records in ATC's CRM.
  • Report progress regularly and adjust strategies to meet performance targets.

To excel in this role, you should demonstrate strong communication, relationship-building, and analytical skills. You understand the engineering and automation landscape and can spot new business opportunities. You thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment and remain customer-focused.

What You Bring

  • Experience in Custom Automation and engineering solutions.
  • Proven track record in Sales & Business Development.
  • Customer-focused approach with the ability to build long-term partnerships.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce CRM or similar tools.
  • Ability to work fully remote with travel as required.
