Aircraft Payload Analyst

Responsibilities

PeopleTec is seeking an Aircraft Payload Analyst to support our Redstone Arsenal Government Customer.

Duties :

• The Payload Analyst is responsible for providing technical expertise in the evaluation and integration of a variety of payload subsystems (EO / IR, Radar, Electronic Warfare, LiDAR, weapons, into aircraft systems.
• Provides Subject Matter Expertise on the performance and capabilities of payload systems.
• Ensure payload integration into multiple vendor offerings for rapid prototyping competition. developmental test effort and follow-on operational assessment.
• Able to evaluate and resolve payload issues with fielded systems.
• Supports the specification, qualification, and airworthiness determination of integrated payload subsystems.
• Effectively communicates with functionals and staff, suppliers, user representatives, and Army airworthiness personnel.
• Supports the evaluation of cost, schedule, and performance of recurring and non-recurring engineering projects.
• Prepares and delivers reports and briefings to senior management describing program status, issues, analyses, findings, results, recommendations, and conclusions as appropriate.

Qualifications

Required Skills / Experience :

• Must have the ability to work in a teaming environment and have the personality to interface with numerous Government and contractor personnel in a rapid paced environment.
• Travel : 10 %
• Must be a . Citizen
• An active DoD Secret clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Secret clearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.

Education Requirements :

BS and 5 years of relevant experience is preferred. Experience may be substituted in lieu of education with approval of the government customer.
