Responsibilities

• Be a team player to help grow the agency.
• Meet new business production goals and objectives as established.
• Develop insurance quotes, make sales presentations, and close sales.
• Develop ongoing networking relationships with Real Estate Agents, Mortgage Lenders, Title Companies etc.
• Thoroughly understand and follow all underwriting, rating and compliance requirements.
• Generating insurance quotes.
• Prospects for new business by following sales leads generated from referrals, networking, marketing, cold-calling, and lead databases.

Requirement

Possess or be willing to obtain a valid OR or WA State Property & Casualty insurance license before starting this position.

Online 40 hour course required to take State test. Will train the right individual.

• Prior experience in insurance sales or other sales experience is preferred.
• Up to 60% of your day may be on the phone-high energy personality is great-Be capable of handling customer rejection.
• Self-motivated & self-starter who is driven to achieve and exceed sales targets.
