Certified Coder

A company is looking for a Coder responsible for accurately coding medical diagnoses and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Accurately code diagnoses, procedures, and services for medical records and billing

Collaborate with providers to ensure clear and complete documentation

Review claim edits and correct errors in a timely manner

Required Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent

Must pass internal coding test; proficient in ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding

Minimum of 1 year of physician / professional coding experience or equivalent education and experience

CPC, CCS-P, RHIT, or RHIA certification required or must be obtained within 90 days
