Description
As a Customer Replenishment Manager at Lewis Bakeries , you will oversee and coordinate the operational aspects of customer order management, fulfillment, and product support across our portfolio of leading bakery and fresh food brands. You'll serve as a key bridge between our customers, sales organization, and internal operations teams, ensuring that every order moves efficiently from production to shelf with accuracy, speed, and care.
In this role, you will assess and improve fulfillment processes, coordinate cross-functional solutions, and uphold our commitments to product quality and customer satisfaction. You'll partner with teams in production, procurement, logistics, and demand planning to ensure smooth execution and proactive resolution of supply chain challenges.
You will report directly to the Customer Replenishment Manager and will work out of our Murfreesboro, TN headquarters and is available to be a remote position .
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end customer fulfillment process, from order intake through delivery ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and full alignment with customer requirements.
- Serve as the primary liaison between customers, sales, and internal operations to proactively manage demand, production, and shipping schedules.
- Partner with procurement, manufacturing, and logistics to resolve service challenges and supply chain disruptions.
- Oversee customer order tracking, identify bottlenecks, and drive timely communication and corrective actions when issues arise.
- Monitor order accuracy, fill rates, and on-time performance, providing insights and corrective feedback to improve service levels.
- Support customer quality and service investigations, managing claims or escalations with urgency and professionalism.
- Review and interpret Bills of Material (BOMs), specifications, and production documentation to ensure correct item fulfillment and substitution accuracy.
- Collaborate with sales, planning, and warehouse teams to optimize inventory levels, reduce back orders, and enhance service reliability.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key retail, food service, and distributor partners.
- Lead and mentor team members to strengthen executional excellence and customer engagement.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Minimum 3+ years of experience in Customer Fulfillment, Order Management, or Customer Support .Proven ability to manage complex fulfillment processes and multiple customer accounts simultaneously.Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.Experience collaborating across operations, logistics, and production environments.Preferred Qualifications
Minimum 5+ years of Supply Chain or Customer Operations experience within a CPG or food manufacturing environment.Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, JD Edwards, or similar) and demand planning tools.Strong understanding of order flow, transportation scheduling, and distribution processes.Ability to anticipate customer needs and lead cross-functional teams toward proactive solutions.Demonstrated ability to improve service metrics and streamline fulfillment workflows.#lbmanagement
