Job descriptionAssist the orthodontist during procedures, including the placement and adjustment of braces and other orthodontic appliances. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, and ensuring all necessary supplies are available. Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Educate patients and their families about oral hygiene, care instructions, and the importance of following treatment plans. Manage appointment scheduling and patient flow within the office. Experience in Orthodontic assisting. Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and team members. A compassionate approach towards working with children in a dental clinic setting. 1- Massachusetts Dental Assisting license.
