Lead Fleet Technician

Lead Fleet Technician Location : Jupiter, FL Shift : Monday to Friday, 2pm to 10 : 30pm, but flexible with schedule per business needs Compensation : $35 / Hour, paid bi-weekly with OT and shift differential offered 6-8% 5pm to 5am We offer a benefits incentive package including 401K retirement with a company match! Responsibilities : Skills Required :

• Able to perform all Sr. Fleet Technician job description plus administration work listed
• Program and record assigned preventative maintenance tasks
• Assisting in education of the Route Sales Representatives’ pre- and post-trip inspections
• Ensure parts are billed out in electronic and proprietary systems
• Record all repair work in Trimble TMT electronic maintenance system and on company P-Cards
• Order, receive, and stock parts and supplies for Fleet Shop as needed
• Timely processing of invoices
• Coordinate and manage multiple outside support vendors as needed
• Review shop workload, assess Fleet Technicians’ ability of work to sign off on certain tasks, and monitor performance of Fleet Shop Repair KPI targets
• When applicable, schedule and assign Mechanic’s work assignments and daily tasks for entire responsible area that could include travel
• Coordinate Fleet with internal partners and Fleet Mechanics
• Manage costs according to budget and daily completion of repairs
• Ensure DOT and Safety, Health, and Environmental compliance standards are met
• Prepare end of month reporting and / or any other administrative requirements Qualifications : Requirements / Qualifications :
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
• Minimum five years hands-on experience in commercial fleet repair (gas, diesel or propane accepted)
• Proficient with Microsoft Office programs, Electronic Diagnostic Tools, and Electronic Maintenance Database applications
• Ability to handle physical requirements, including, but not limited to, repeated bending, stretching, twisting, and lifting up to 60 pounds in all work conditions (indoor and outdoor), with or without a reasonable accommodation
• A valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• Ability to secure and / or maintain a CDL Class B with airbrake endorsement (for applicable CDL positions)
• Ability to secure and maintain T4 (airbrake) certification within specified period
• Must possess mechanic hand-tools and toolbox for secure storage
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently without direct supervision
