Job Title : Commercial Sales Representative - Automotive (Sarasota)

Sunset Chevrolet Buick GMC is expanding our commercial sales division and we're looking for a driven, experienced sales professional with commercial vehicle acumen - someone who doesn't just meet goals, but blows them out of the water. If you've got 2+ years of proven commercial / business vehicle sales experience, you thrive on results, and you're ready to join a high-energy team in a high-volume dealership, keep reading.
What you'll do EVERY DAY :
Prospect, cold-call, and develop new commercial customers (business fleets, contractors, small & mid-sized companies) for trucks, vans, SUVs, business-use vehicles.
Manage and grow an active commercial customer base : pursue leads, convert opportunities, build relationships.
Present, demo, and close business vehicle deals : new inventory, up-fitting, financing / lease-structures, service agreements.
Collaborate with inventory, F&I, service & parts teams to deliver complete business solutions (not just a sale)-you're the business advisor.
Hit aggressive monthly and quarterly sales targets , and consistently produce revenue through commercial unit sales and related add-ons (upfits, warranty, service packages).
Provide feedback on commercial market trends, competitor vehicles / business, pricing, help shape our commercial strategy.
Maintain accurate CRM records, follow up on leads, ensure pipeline visibility, and stay accountable to metrics.
Represent our dealership with professionalism at external events, networking functions, business outreach initiatives.
What we expect from you :
Minimum of 2 years commercial or business-vehicle sales experience (fleet, contractor accounts, business accounts) - you've closed big deals, you know how to sell to business decision makers.
Proven track record of meeting / exceeding sales targets - you bring results.
Excellent communication skills : you speak "business", you connect.
Strong negotiation skills, financial acumen (leasing / financing, business vehicles).
Self-starter, highly motivated, strong work ethic, able to manage leads independently yet collaborate with a team.
Comfortable with a fast-paced, high-volume dealership environment.
Valid driver's license, good driving record.
Professional appearance, credibility when meeting business clients.
Knowledge of commercial vehicle segments, business use-cases, up-fitting and fleet solutions is a plus .
