Market Intelligence Analyst

The Market Intelligence Analyst Conduct the assigned marketing research project.

Researches and compiles data related to assigned product market, customer demographics and interest, and factors influencing product demand;

analyzes results to identify ways of maximizing sales and market penetration of current products.

Compiles data related to competitors products such as pricing, sales, and marketing or distribution methodology.

The Market Intelligence Analyst Summarizes and analyzes data; makes recommendations related to research findings.

Reports findings, complete with graphs illustrating data and written text explaining complex findings.

The Market Intelligence Analyst Identifies potential new products or markets through research.

Forecasts and tracks industry marketing and sales trends based on collected data.

Delivers reports and presentations of findings.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Drafts questionnaires, polls, surveys, and other data collection resources.

Requirements

  • Master degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related disciplines
  • 5+ years of experience in the field or in a related area. Preferable background at a market research agency or a research department.
  • Superior analytical thinking skills with the ability to synthesize complex information and derive insights.
  • Highly developed understanding of relevant content area (e.g., industry sector).
  • Advanced business knowledge and ability to translate research objectives into business objectives.
  • Track record of being results oriented; demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deliver results on time
  • Clear and precise communicator including excellent business writing skills.
  • Highly organized, resourceful, and able to prioritize among competing demands.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and influencing skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively on teams and with people at all levels.
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
  • Ability to travel as needed.
