Our Boca Raton office is currently seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team.

Position Overview :

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our Boca Raton office. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably within the public accounting industry. This role involves managing a variety of accounting tasks, including maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, processing payroll, and assisting with client accounts. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to contribute to a dynamic CPA firm while working in a collaborative team setting.

Key Responsibilities :

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for clients.

Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

Process payroll and handle related tax filings.

Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.

Assist with preparing tax returns and other related financial reports.

Communicate with clients regarding their accounting needs and provide excellent customer service.

Support senior staff with various ad-hoc accounting and bookkeeping tasks as needed.

Qualifications :

5-10 years of bookkeeping experience, ideally in public accounting.

Proficiency in CCH and other accounting software.

Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

Knowledge of payroll processing and tax compliance.

Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Must be local to the South Florida area.

Education :

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred, but not required..
