The Development Manager is a tactical leader responsible for driving the expansion and growth of our quick-service restaurant brand across the United States as part of our new to industry growth program.

Market Analysis & Site Selection
- Conduct market research to identify high-potential locations based on demographics, traffic patterns, and competitive landscape.
- Partner with brokers and legal teams for property acquisition.
Negotiation & Deal Making
Lead lease and purchase negotiations to meet financial and operational goals.Ensure compliance with local zoning and regulatory requirements during site selection and acquisition.Project Management & Construction Oversight
Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets.Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure timely and quality construction.Oversee permitting and regulatory approvals.Financial Planning & Reporting
Build financial models and ROI analyses to support site selection and development decisions.Monitor budgets and proactively manage financial risks.Prepare and present development progress reports to senior leadership.Relationship Management
Cultivate strong relationships with franchisees, landlords, brokers, and internal stakeholders.Serve as a key liaison between development, operations, and finance teams.Compliance & Due Diligence
Conduct due diligence to address environmental, zoning, and regulatory considerations.Stay informed on evolving state and municipal regulations.What You'll Need

Bachelor's degree in business, Real Estate, or a related field.Master's or MBA preferred2+ years of experience in QSR development, including multi-unit and ground-up projects.Strong knowledge of real estate development, financial modeling, and legal processes.Proven ability to manage complex projects and meet deadlines.Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.Proficiency in project management tools and financial analysis software.Ability to travel extensively and work in a fast-paced environment.Experience with a major QSR brand.Knowledge of current QSR industry trends, including technology adoption and sustainability.Familiarity with incorporating digital ordering and delivery into QSR design and location selection.This role can be based out of any of the following offices; Charlotte, Raleigh, Tempe.
