Job Details
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation Attorney to join our expanding legal team. The successful candidate will work directly with clients on a variety of commercial litigation and fiduciary litigation matters, as well as some wealth planning.
This is an excellent opportunity to engage in a high level of client interaction, take on significant responsibility, and work with a team of experienced professionals.
The position offers a career progression path for the right candidate with the opportunity to build and develop their own client base.
Responsibilities :
- Think strategically regarding commercial litigation matters
- Appear in court and at hearings representing the client
- Provide legal representation to clients on matters related to probate litigation as well as general commercial litigation
- Providing legal representation for clients on matters related to estate planning, probate and trust administration.
- Advising clients on tax-efficient strategies for wealth preservation and transfer.
- Assisting clients in planning for possible long-term care costs.
Qualifications :
- Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the state bar of Florida
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial and / or fiduciary litigation
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong client service skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Proficient in the use of legal research tools and software.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated business development skills would be an advantage.
