Position Overview
The Manufacturing Manager will oversee and coordinate all aspects of the manufacturing process, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards. This role is crucial in driving continuous improvement initiatives and leading a team to achieve operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily manufacturing operations to ensure production targets are met
- Implement lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies to enhance efficiency
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and regulatory standards in all manufacturing processes
- Monitor and improve quality control processes to maintain product quality
- Oversee supply chain management and inventory control to optimize production flow
- Lead and develop the manufacturing team, fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability
- Coordinate with other departments to align production schedules with organizational goals
- Prepare and manage the manufacturing budget, ensuring cost control and resource allocation
- Utilize SAP and ISO 9001 standards to streamline operations and enhance reporting
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related fieldProven experience as a Manufacturing Manager or in a similar roleIndustry expertise pertaining to processing related environment highly preferred (example : coating, roll to roll printing and extrusion concepts).Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and quality control practicesExperience with supply chain management and inventory management techniquesDemonstrated ability in process improvement and operational efficiencyExcellent team leadership and interpersonal skillsFamiliarity with safety compliance and regulatory standardsProficient in using manufacturing software such as SAP and understanding of ISO 9001Strong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesBudget management experienceBenefits
