Overview :
Responsible for performing various operations in processing soiled and clean linen, utilizing laundry equipment, and individual skills.
Performs related duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
Experience : None required.
- Preferred Experience : Laundry experience beneficial, but not a requirement.
- Required Education : None required.
- Certifications : None required.
- Other : Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities : Responsible for soiled linen shake out, feeding ironers, dry folding of linen, may assist in sewing room as needed.
Working Conditions, Mental and Physical Requirements : Able to lift 30 pounds and stand on feet for long periods of time.
Physical demands are attached plus push / pull 40#, grip up to 50 lbs., pinch up to 15 lbs., kneel, crouch, and crawl minimally.
Equipment Used : Washers, dryers, ironers, folders.
