As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter incidents and maintaining a secure environment at government-related locations. This position is both armed and driving, requiring you to be alert and responsive while patrolling designated areas. What You'll Do :

Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies while providing customer service to clients and visitors at government locations.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible presence.

Respond to incidents, emergencies, and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, taking appropriate actions as needed.

Document and report all unusual activities, incidents, and / or suspicious behavior in accordance with Allied Universal and client protocols.

Interact with employees, visitors, and the public in a professional and courteous manner, providing assistance as required.

Monitor access points, verify credentials, and help to control entry and exit of personnel and vehicles at the location.

Support emergency response activities and assist first responders as directed by site policies and procedures.

Minimum Requirements :

A minimum of one year of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, and / or military roles is required.

An armed guard card or license is required.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
