Job Purpose & Scope

Performs complex reviews of high-risk activity leveraging internal and external data sources to detect and mitigate fraud loss for stakeholders.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Knowledge of banking laws and regulations. Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently both verbally and in writing with all levels of management and staff. Ability to handle moderately complex situations requiring analysis or research while using independent judgement. Ability to work under general supervision. Ability to exercise discretion and sound judgment in decision making and maintain confidentiality. Ability to demonstrate initiative to accomplish work objectives. Ability to apply logic, interpret documents, and demonstrate ability to comply with procedures. Ability to work effectively in a fast paced and team environment. Ability to multi-task with excellent organizational skills. Ability to read and analyze data for suspicious behavior. Ability to maintain attention to detail. Ability to demonstrate effective time management skills and meet deadlines in a timely manner. Ability to work effectively and demonstrate flexibility in a continually changing environment. Ability to work extended hours. Skill in using a computer and Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or commensurate work experience, required. One (1) or more years of work experience in fraud detection and / or Bank Secrecy Act reporting, required. One (1) or more years of prior financial institution work experience required.
