Our client, an international AmLaw 100 law firm , is seeking a skilled Associate Attorney to join its Labor & Employment Practice in Los Angeles . This is an exciting opportunity for a mid-level associate to handle complex employment litigation and counseling matters while working alongside a highly regarded team of practitioners in a dynamic and collegial environment.
Candidate Profile
- JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record
- Active Bar Admission in California, in good standing
4–6 years of substantive labor and employment law experience, preferably in a large law firm setting
JD Class of 2019-2021Extensive deposition experience and experience arguing motions in courtExperience drafting litigation -related documents and handling discoveryAbility to communicate and negotiate with opposing counsel efficiently and professionallyHighly proficient in running cases independentlyTrial experience and class action / PAGA experience strongly preferredStrong analytical, research, and legal writing skills, along with demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, and a client-service mindsetKey Responsibilities
Represent clients in labor and employment litigation , including class action and PAGA mattersTake and defend depositions and engage in motion practiceDraft discovery and other litigation-related documents, including memoranda , briefs , motions , and pleadingsParticipate in trials and contribute to trial preparationCommunicate and negotiate directly with opposing counselIndependently progress employment law cases from inception through resolutionCollaborate with colleagues across practice groups to deliver comprehensive , client-focused legal solutionsDevelop and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and responsivenessWhy Join Us?

Compensation & Benefits
