Risk Control Intern

We are currently seeking applicants who are interested in being considered for our upcoming summer internship program as potential Risk Control Interns.
Who should apply?
- Applications are accepted from college students currently enrolled at an accredited college or university to pursue a four-year degree or to complete a master's degree program full-time.
- A four-year degree student should be completing sophomore, junior, or senior year (graduating in spring 2026 thru spring 2028).
- A minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 is highly preferred.

Under close supervision, performs functional duties for assigned division. Performs special projects as required. Risk Control Interns will not only perform project related work that impacts our business and operations, but they will also spend time shadowing our Risk Control Consultants in real-world business cases and in-person visits. Projects can be research, data analysis, problem solving, and project management where creative thinking is encouraged.
Use your safety knowledge to evaluate and analyze accident and insurance claim trends.Propose solutions to reduce risk and accidents by identifying hazards and developing best practices.Research emerging commercial business operations for risk, safety, and insurance.Job shadow by participating in scheduled meetings and calls to learn our business.Learn fundamentals of the insurance industry, different insurance coverages, and professional business etiquette.Duties and Responsibilities :
Performs various tasks related to the achievement of division objectives.Conducts research and gathers information and assists in creating presentations as required.Analyzes data and reports findings.Verifies and enters data into appropriate system, and updates electronic files.Provides clerical and administrative support as needed.Completes special projects as required.Capabilities :

Minimum Educational Requirements : High school diploma, or equivalent, required. Pursuit of Bachelor's degree with completion of sophomore year in a relevant field required.Additional Experience : Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred. Working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software preferred.Physical Requirements :
