Radial Power is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Solar Rooftop Project Manager to support the Director of Construction in delivering distributed generation (DG) solar projects. This role will focus on project management and coordination, managing Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) partners to their deliverables, supporting internal contracting and procurement, communicating effectively between internal stakeholders and external clients, and managing overall project timelines. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in a project management / construction management role and a passion for sustainable energy solutions. Key Job Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary project administrative point of contact for rooftop DG solar projects. Managing overall contract performance and deliverables. Identify key milestones, resolve issues, and ensure contractual standards are met.
- Lead the review and approval of document submissions from external parties that are contractual requirements to complete projects.
- Assist with identifying long-lead equipment and tracking deliveries to meet project schedules.
- Manage delivery of equipment that is required to be Owner supplied. Track inventory volumes.
- Coordinate with internal engineering on contracts, design reviews, and drawing approvals, permit submissions.
- Coordinate with utility representatives, AHJs, and stakeholders to ensure timely approvals, inspections, and interconnection milestones.
- Monitor and maintain project schedules and budgets; proactively identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Provide clear reporting to senior management on progress, cost tracking, risks, and mitigation measures.
- Ensure projects achieve Mechanical, Substantial, and Final completion milestones. Including commissioning and turnover.
Required Education
Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferredRequired Experience
2-5 years of experience in a project management or construction role, preferably in the energy sector.Other Skills
Strong organizational and multitasking skills with keen attention to detail.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Competency in project management software (e.g., MS applications, , Procore, Bluebeam, Smartsheets).Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
