Project Coordinator
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Coordinator to support our growing team. This role involves working closely with Project Managers to capture weekly forecasting needs, manage manpower planning, and track design deliverable deadlines. The ideal candidate will have experience in project coordination, scheduling, and internal personnel management within the design or construction industry. Responsibilities include meeting with Project Managers on Fridays to discuss weekly forecasting needs for internal personnel tasks and upcoming deadlines, preparing and updating the weekly Manpower Planning report, tracking design deliverable deadlines, documenting manpower assignments, coordinating overlapping team completion demands, and defining task priorities. Additionally, the role involves monitoring the status of proposals, Add Service Proposals (ASPs), and Receipt of Purchase Orders (POs), and tracking Engineer schedules for PTO and travel arrangements.
Essential skills include project coordination and scheduling experience, project management expertise, and experience in construction or engineering fields. Additional skills and qualifications include 2-15 years of experience in project coordination or internal scheduling at a design or construction firm, and familiarity with Vantage Point is a bonus.
This is a full-time position requiring onsite presence in Woodridge, IL, four days a week (Monday through Thursday). Meetings with Project Managers occur on Fridays, and weekly reporting is completed on Mondays. The work culture is relaxed and fun, despite a busy workload. The office is located in Woodridge, IL, with roughly 40 employees. While the majority of work occurs in CST hours, there is flexibility with time zones. The company is a leader in technology engineering, assisting in all technology-oriented designs within complex buildings, including audio / visual, security systems, and IT infrastructure. The office environment promotes a fun and inclusive culture, hosting high-school and college interns annually, and engaging in events within the data center / technology engineering space.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Woodridge, IL. The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $43.26 / hr.
