Accountant

System One is assisting a Tulsa client with a search for an Accountant. This position works closely with the rest of the Fixed Assets team who excel in their areas of expertise. Hybrid work environment

Main responsibilities include :

Unitizing the assets when they have large projects. Review the data and sort through it categorizing items quickly

Prepare regulatory reports periodically

Review specific accounts regularly making any necessary reclassification or correcting entries

Involved with month-end and year-end close as it relates to the position's area of accounting

Assist with other projects as requested

Requirements :

Minimum of 1 - 2 years in accounting at the staff accountant level or above.

Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance

Strong knowledge of GAAP and understanding of Sox Controls

Proficient in Excel and comfortable with computer systems

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, logical thought process

Self-starter who takes initiative and gets things done

Effective communicator, both written and verbal

Detail oriented and organized

Strong work ethic with a positive attitude

Salary : $70K - $90K
