Martin / Martin is looking for an experienced civil senior project engineer to join our Lakewood, CO office. The position will provide opportunities for civil design throughout the Front Range of Colorado as well as nationally. A successful candidate will be a motivated self-starter with strong technical, project management, and client communication skills. We are a client-focused and employee-centered firm.

Lastly, our investigative engineers are pivotal in supporting ongoing projects by planning and implementing repairs, renovations, and improvements for buildings and sites. With nine office locations and a staff of 370, Martin / Martin engineers regularly perform work across the United States and internationally.
EXAMPLES OF RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in master planning and conceptual design.
- Assist in fee determination and proposal preparation.
- Assist with monitoring design budgets and project schedules.
- Serve as point-of-contact with Clients, Contractors and other design disciplines.
- Manage multiple engineering projects from start of design through completion of construction.
- Manage and mentor a team of civil engineers and CAD technicians.
- Utilizes AutoCAD / Civil3D to design, detail, and coordinate medium to large size projects within time allotments and within project budgets.
- Attend project meetings during design and construction.
- Provide quality-control check of work produced.
- Provide project construction administration support including shop drawing review, responses to Requests for Information (RFIs), and field observations.
- Monitor project budgets and reviews and / or approves invoicing to clients.
- Participate in collection and account receivable efforts.
- Works overtime, when necessary.

This position is primarily technical in nature and requires working inside and outside the office to complete a wide range of activities. The following abilities are required :

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Min 7 years' experience in site developmentBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited curriculum.Excellent time management and organizational skillsSelf-motivated and able to work independently for extended periods of timeStrong written, technical, and interpersonal skillsCommitted to client services and a team-based approachAttention to detail, delivering quality work products, and excellent client servicesAbility to work with a wide variety of clients, regulators, and authoritiesProven marketing / business development skillsHas a PE license in the State of Colorado or the ability to obtain one within three monthsDESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
