Preconstruction Director *Healthcare

Position Overview :
As a Preconstruction Director, you will play a crucial role in the initial phases of project development, focusing on healthcare and senior living projects.
You will be responsible for overseeing the preconstruction process, leading a team of Estimators, and ensuring accurate conceptual estimating.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage the preconstruction phase of healthcare and senior living projects.
- Conduct conceptual estimating and budgeting for prospective projects.
- Collaborate with the business development team to provide accurate and competitive bids.
- Supervise and mentor a team of Estimators, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Interface with clients, architects, and subcontractors to understand project requirements.
- Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documents to develop comprehensive project cost estimates.
- Stay current with industry trends, market conditions, and construction methodologies.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in preconstruction, with a focus on healthcare and senior living projects.
- Proven experience in conceptual estimating and budgeting.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of construction software and estimating tools.
