Essential Job Function
Act as the primary liaison between the OEM and the contracted customer, ensuring seamless communication and strong professional relationships.
Provide technical and quality support, addressing production issues promptly to prevent claims.
Analyze problems at the OEM facility, propose solutions, and communicate corrective actions to production plants.
Monitor and audit how the customer handles products, suggesting improvements as needed.
Attend customer meetings and provide continuous feedback on quality concerns and claim resolutions.
Stay updated on technical and industry developments through training and visits.
Report regularly to the contracted partner.
Support prototype builds, pre-serial production, engineering changes, and launch activities.
Oversee and coordinate on-site sorting or rework activities, ensuring written approval from the contracted client.
Qualifications
Required Skills :
Strong mechanical aptitude and process control expertise
Experience with standardized work, product, and process audits
Knowledge of shipping, receiving, and sequencing (preferred)
Tier 1 automotive experience (preferred)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English and Spanish)
Strong leadership with the ability to direct teams effectively
