National Grid's Graduate Development Program (GDP) is a year-long development program for recent college graduates who aspire to take on future leadership roles in a dynamic, ever-changing industry. Graduates will shape the future of National Grid. Bringing fresh thinking, new perspectives, and exploring with energy, we'll give you real responsibility and an opportunity to move with purpose from day one - putting the power to supercharge your career in your hands.

Graduates start their careers at National Grid with an in-depth 3-week in-person Orientation which gives you exposure to all parts of the company, allows you to network with your Graduate cohort, GDP alumni, and senior leaders, and provides you with the opportunity to travel throughout our service territory in the northeast US. Following Orientation, you'll begin working in full-time position outlined below and take part in ongoing development activities including quarterly development sessions, active mentorship, and a Hackathon Project.

About the Position

As an Associate Analyst in Process and Performance Improvement, you'll identify and implement process enhancements that support our New England Electric organization. If you're curious, passionate about problem-solving, and eager to make an impact, this role is perfect for you!

This is a hybrid role based in Waltham, MA.

What You'll Do

In this role, you'll play a key part in helping every employee, customer, and stakeholder. Here's what you'll be up to :

• Data-Driven Decisions : Support decision-making through data analysis, creating tools like Power BI reports and detailed process maps.
• Process Improvement Initiatives : Participate in high-impact projects that align with our organizational goals, ensuring measurable outcomes and sustainable change.
• Continuous Improvement Culture : Champion a culture of continuous improvement by engaging stakeholders, facilitating workshops, and managing change across departments.
• Stakeholder Collaboration : Partner with stakeholders to align process improvements with strategic priorities and technology roadmaps, building relationships at all levels.
• Identify Inefficiencies : Spot process inefficiencies and work closely with functional teams to develop solutions that drive efficiency and maximize value.
• Data Collection & Analysis : Conduct data collection and analysis to identify specific improvement opportunities, develop scoping documents, and determine project deliverables.
• Stay Updated : Keep up with changing technologies and industry best practices to ensure we're always improving.

Salary Range

Waltham, MA $67,000 - $79,000 a year

You must reside within our existing footprint, which includes contiguous states (New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Maine, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Vermont). Our hybrid working approach applies to all colleagues who have a role which has the flexibility to be done hybrid across the National Grid group. Operational requirements mean that not all roles are suitable for hybrid working. Managers are responsible for determining whether a role is conducive to hybrid working. A hybrid worker should also reside within a reasonable, commutable distance to their assigned primary office.
