Overview

Overnight Maintenance Supervisor

Pay Rate : $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

Job Type : Part-Time

Location : New Haven, Connecticut

Shift & Schedule : Overnight / 3rd shift

Must Have : 2 Years Drivers License

  • Do you hold a CDL with Connecticut required endorsments as well as Public Passenger?

What we're looking for :

  • Perform all maintenance and cleaning tasks noted on the checklists and as directed by the facility manager / supervisor to ensure that all dirt, dust, litter, and debris are removed from all areas of the shuttle vehicles.
  • Sweep and pick up around the yard as well as the office, and rest rooms.
  • Empty all trash cans in the office and restrooms.
  • Responsible for safety and security of company equipment.
  • Perform tasks such as replace light bulbs as needed on shuttle vehicles and check fluids such as oil, washer fluid and coolant.
  • Check vehicles for any damage-scrapes, dents, missing parts, and hazards to be reported to manager.
  • Maintain an inventory of janitorial supplies and submit requests to re-stock supplies as needed.
  • Report any known accidents or violations of Company policy, safety hazards, or any unusual occurrence to the area manager immediatley
  • Answer the phone
  • Complete inspection / maintenance logs
  • nightly reporting of fluid levels
  • Snow removal from stairs and walkways

    • Must haves :

  • You are at least 18 years old.
  • You have a valid driver's license and have been driving for at least 2 years.
  • Energetic, outgoing and can stand, run, and carry items, up to 50lbs, if needed.
  • Great communicator in both written and spoken language, with a friendly, professional approach to everyone you meet.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, and can help resolve customer issues in a positive and helpful way.
  • You have at least one year of related parking and / or customer service experience.
  • You are a motivated individual willing to take on new challenges, with experience in Customer Service or the Shuttle Industry.
  • You are a roll-up-the-sleeves, get stuff done type of person that is organized, honest and thoughtful.
  • Your friends describe you as trustworthy, loyal and dependable.
  • You are self-sufficient, resourceful, collaborative and decisive.
