Job Summary

Tampa General Hospital Ambulatory Services is rapidly expanding across Central Florida. We are seeking a Clinical Health Psychologist to join our Psychology team.

TGH is dedicated to providing all patients with the highest level of care, as one of the Top 8 Hospitals in Florida. We are seeking a broadly trained clinician to join our psychology team.

Primary focus is on assessment and treatment of individuals with complex medical illness utilizing a biopsychosocial model of care.

Specific populations may include diabetes, heart and vascular conditions, autoimmune disorders and complex health management.

Qualifications

Applicants must have a Ph.D. / Psy.D. in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an APA-accredited program and an APA approved pre-doctoral internship.

Post-doctoral fellowship in Clinical Health Psychology.Experience with a range of acute and chronic health conditions providing evidence based assessment, intervention and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Enthusiasm for working with patients who have serious, complex illnesses.Current licensure / license eligible in the State of Florida.

Applicants must meet the credentialing guidelines for full medical staff membership.The ability to speak Spanish is desirable but not required.
