Biomedical Equipment Technician
Progressive biomedical company has immediate opening for a biomedical field service rep (BMET) for North Louisiana and North Mississippi area.
Formal biomed education and prior experience strongly preferred, but not required, if electronics or military training in a related field is completed.
Duties include, but are not limited to, routine scheduled maintenance, installations, and repairs of various medical equipment located in hospitals, doctors' offices, rehabs, and clinics, involving extensive travel to these locations.
A company vehicle and all tools and test equipment will be provided. Clean driving and criminal record required; background check will be performed prior to employment.
Will work under direct supervision of senior BMET staff during the probationary period, after which functioning independently is expected, requiring self-motivated and disciplined candidates with strong organizational written and verbal communication skills, while interacting directly with hospital staff, vendors, and other technicians in a courteous and professional manner.
