Illinois Licensed Structural Engineer

A company is looking for a Structural Project Engineer to work on complex projects in their Chicago, IL office.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review structural and geometric calculations for bridge rehabilitation and design projects

Prepare and review finite element analysis models and bridge load rating reports to DOT standards

Coordinate tasks with the Project / Technical Manager and ensure independent QC reviews on design calculation files and plans

Required Qualifications

B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline required; MS preferred

PE License preferred; SE License in Illinois or plan to obtain required

Minimum of 5 years of bridge inspection, analysis, load rating, and / or design experience

Experience with IDOT, CDOT, ISTHA, and / or Chicagoland local agencies preferred

Completion of relevant FHWA-NHI courses is preferred but not required
